Obituary's Biography:

Wendy Ann Perna, 58, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at her home.  She was born March 10, 1960 in Aurora, IL to Edward and Ruth Smith.  Wendy was employed by Siemens Building Technologies for 20 years. Her expertise allowed her to successfully develop many new products. Her guidance, friendship and support will be cherished and remembered by all she worked with.  Wendy was the Loving Mother of two Beautiful Daughters- Alyssa and Lauren and Adored by Stephen, her Husband of 35 years. She was fun-loving, enjoyed traveling and entertaining family and friends.  Wendy is survived by her Husband Stephen, her Daughter Lauren (Richard) Browne, her parents Edward and Ruth Smith, her twin Grandchildren that are expected in November, her brothers Kevin (Laura) Smith and Craig Smith, her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, her sisters-in-law, and her brothers-in-law. She was preceded in death by her daughter Alyssa Perna, her Father and Mother-in-Law Frank and Ella Perna and her Sister-in-Law Karen Perna.  Wendy’s Life will be celebrated with Family and Friends. In Grayslake, a Visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 28, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, Il 60030 and in Batavia at Moss Funeral Home, 209 S Batavia Ave Batavia Il 60510 on Sunday September 30, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 10:30 AM on Monday October 1,2018, 2300 W Main St Batavia Il.
