Obituary's Biography:
Thomas G. Wylie (Tom; Pops) 59 years old and a resident of Lake Villa, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Centegra Medical Center, in McHenry, IL. He was born in Chicago, IL on September 19, 1954. Tom was a school bus driver for Durham School Services. Tom also worked in the meat department at Jewel in Round Lake Beach. He was active in Boy Scout Troup 85. He is survived by his wife, Victoria who he married on April 6, 1985. Also surviving are his children Samual (Cracker) Wylie, Angela (A.J) (Jason) Mattox, Melissa (Missy) (Ryan) Carlson, Scott (Kara) Phillips, and Joe (Toby) Phillips. He is survived by 13 Grandchildren, his parents Raymond and Marion, and his sister Sue (Dan) Sheehan. Friends of the family may visit at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Tuesday September 24, 2013 from 4p.m. to 8p.m. A funeral service will begin at 10:30a.m. on Wednesday at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL. Burial will be private. Never have been very good at words, so I will just say to hold on to each other, love one and other, and be the family that Tom loved and he did….love his family. He was my trainer and friend and he will be missed.
