Obituary's Biography:
Theresa E. (nee Lenzen) Dietz, age 90, a Fox Lake resident and west Lake County resident for all of her life, died on October 13, 2018. She was born on May 24, 1928 in Round Lake, the daughter of John and Mary (Wagner) Lenzen. Theresa was a member of St. Bede Church and belonged to the St. Bede Women’s Club. She was a member of the Ingleside Prime Timers and Ingleside TOPS #1733. She loved to bake, knit and crochet. Survivors include her son, Micheal (Jean) Dietz of Ingleside; her daughters, Mary Jo (Ron) Robinson of Woodland Park, CO, Peggy (Steve) Savage of Ingleside, and Rose (Curt) Sheets of Ingleside; grandchildren, BJ (Zedd) Epstein, Jonathan (Mandy) Dietz, Tara (Kris) Wilson, Kyle (Jessy) Robinson, Elizabeth (Jason) Thomas, Catherine Savage, Kevin Savage, Melissa (Bo) McCart, Jennifer (Janson) Luedtke, and Steven Sheets; great-grandchildren, Mikaela Henness-Wilson, Ruby Robinson, Madelyn, Declan, Hadley and Irelynn McCart, Barrett, Elle and Quinn Luedtke, Jacob and Joseph Dietz, Andrew and Benjamin Thomas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, whom she married on September 6, 1947 at St. Gilbert Catholic Church in Grayslake; brothers, Albert, Edward, Fredrick, Leo, and Martin; and sister, Marzella. Friends of the family may visit on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Bede Catholic Church, 36455 N. Wilson Rd. Ingleside, IL 60041. Interment will be held privately. Memorials to the American Lung Association (www.lung.org) or the St. Vincent DePaul Society would be appreciated. What a wonderful lady and a great family legacy she has left us with. She will be missed by us and so many others as well.

Theresa will be missed by all who knew her. Her joyous laugh and wonderful baking but mostly for her enduring spirit. The Ohio Spoerl family send their condolences.
I have had the pleasure of meeting Theresa through her daughter Peggy. First what an amazing family!! The first time I met Theresa, I think we talked for an hour, and loved hearing her stories.
She was a very proud lady, proud of her family, and very proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

We were very saddened to learn of your mom’s passing this afternoon. I remember her as always so cheerful, enthusiastic, and a joy to be around. Both Ken and I send our deepest condolences to Mike, Peggy, Mary Jo, and Rose and your families.
