Susan (Sue) Jean Evenson
Obituary's Biography:
She loved life. Those 3 words best describe Susan (Sue) Jean Evenson. She was a gift born to the world September 7, 1951. In her short lifetime, Sue gave back to the world unconditionally. She was a bright spirit, positive, loving and kind to everyone she met. Her favorite things were volunteering, the beach/water, doing things for others, celebrating holidays (especially birthdays) sending cards (with lots of stickers), giving and getting gifts, parties/celebrations, spending time exploring/antiquing with her husband, spending lots of time with her grandchildren children and BFF’s Chris, Barb and Linda (and we cannot forget her love of cigarettes and coffee). She was a free spirit with a childlike soul. Her beautiful Spirit is carried on by her husband Edward Evenson, her two daughters, Shannon Fricilone Long (Alex) and Sarah Fricilone Varisco (Joe), four grandchildren (Sophia, Vincent, Xavier and Felix), three surviving siblings Sharon Delewski, Sandra Clemmenson and Robert Buczak and an extended family of nieces and nephews, relations and friends from every walk of life. To Sue, everyone she met was a friend. She is now in heaven celebrating with her beloved grandparents (Jaja and Busia), her parents Edward (Lil) Buczak and Delores Buczak. Happy Birthday Sue! We love you. Friends of the family may visit from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2015 with a funeral service starting at 3:00 p.m. at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. I am in shock to hear the sad news about Sue. I worked with her at R.J.Galla Co for many years. We sat next to each other and discussed everything from work to children. I will miss hearing from her every so often or from Facebook through my daughter Dawn.
God Bless you Sue and keep smiling in heaven.
Love, Cindy

And touched the lives of those around her. Thank you so much for making this world a brighter and peaceful place!!!!
Shannon, I’m so very sorry to hear the news about your mom. I believe I went to St. Domitilla grade school with her, Class of ’65. You and your family are in my prayers.
You have been one of my best friends for over 30 years. Thanks for all the wonderful memories. I will miss our facebook instant talking conversations. I’am in so much shock and disbelief right now. I will be keeping your beautiful family in my thoughts and prayers as you would want me to do. I love you Sue, and I will miss you so much. I look forward to God’s promise, when we will be together again in heaven. I know I will find you in the angel section of heaven. Until then.
My condolences to the family. I remember the Buczak’s growing up in Berkeley. Sandy was my best friend. There is a post on the St. Domitilla alumni facebook page. That’s how I found out. I’m so sorry for everyone’s loss. Gone too soon….RIP.
I did not know Sue, but her sister Sharon and I were friends all through high school. Sharon, I’m very sorry to hear about the loss of your sister and I hope the love of your family and friends is a support to you in this difficult time.
