Obituary's Biography:

Susan Marie Bergh, age 78, a resident of Round Lake Beach, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at her home.  She was born on September 3, 1943 in Chicago to John and Catherine (Dolan) Geisel.  She is survived by her husband, Allan, of 50 years whom she married on April 23, 1971 in Alsip, IL; her children, Cathy (Rob) Meinshausen of Genoa City, Christine (Alan) Whinery of Kenosha, WI, and Nick (Cyndi) Marolis of Nebraska; her grandchildren, Stephen (Jenna) Chagdes of Little Chute, WI, Jessica Otte of Arizona, Sarah (Joe) Wilkinson of Kenosha, WI, Emily Whinery of Kenosha, WI, Brian Marolis of Nebraska, and Lauren (Mike Peterson) Marolis of Nebraska; her great grandchild, Alexander Chagdes; and her siblings, Amy Reigal, Tom Geisel, Mary Cobiella, and Matthew Geisel.  She is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Courtney Meinshausen.  A memorial visitation will be held on January 15, 2022 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm with at St. Gilbert Catholic Church 301 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030.  The memorial mass will be held at 1:00pm at the church on the same day.  All funeral arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E.
