Stanley J. Szczesniak

Obituary's Biography:

Stanley J. Szczesniak, 92, a resident of Lindenhurst since 1958, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at his home.  He was born November 8, 1927 in Chicago to Joseph and Marie Szczesniak.  Stanley was a veteran of the US Navy having served as a Fireman.  He worked as a Mechanical Engineer for over 40 years.  Stanley was family focused and enjoyed being surrounded by his family and hosting the holiday and family gatherings.  He also liked gardening, basketball, watching football, and chess.  Stanley is survived by his children Debbie (Raymond) Juarez and Bill (Janet) Szczesniak, his grandchildren Angie and Katie Juarez, and Kathy (Andrew) Brown, his great-grandchildren Arianna and Raymond, and his sister Marianne Harms.  He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia, his grandson Christopher Juarez, and his sister Florence Szczesniak.  A visitation and funeral mass is scheduled for Monday, November 25, 2019 from 10:00am until 11:00am with the funeral mass commencing at 11:00am at Prince of Peace 135 S. Milwaukee Ave. Lake Villa, IL 60046.  Interment will be held after the services at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.  Memorials may be made to the St. Jude’s Children Hospital.  All arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E.
