Obituary's Biography:
Sol Speno, 77, of Round Lake Beach, Il, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Condell Hospital, in Libertyville, Il. Sol was born to Vito, Mary Speno nee Bingham on May 27, 1936 in Harlem, Ky. Sol loved to fish, he was an avid Bears fan, he enjoyed computers, and all things electrical. He was very proud to have graduated electrical school. Survivors include his wife of 35 years Marion they were married on April 14, 1979, in Fox Lake, Il. Sol is also survived by his children, Mike Speno, Highland Lake, Il, Maronia Marthaler, Park City, Il, Sabrina(Mark)Burns, Antioch, IL, Jeff(Jennifer)Speno, Gurnee, Il, Dina(Thomas)Twigg, Kenosha, Wi, Tony(April)Speno Kenosha, Wi, grandchildren Curry, Cody, Cegan, Jessica, Zachary, Miranda, Mark, Mallory, Keira, Brother Mike Marion Speno , Round Lake Beach, IL. Sol was preceded in death by is parents, his sister Rosia Speno, and his daughter in law Candice Speno. There will be a visitation on Wednesday May 7, 2014 from 4:00P.M. till 8:00P.M. A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 8, 10:00A.M. At the Strang Funeral Chapel 410 E. Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL, 60030, burial will follow at the Windridge Memorial Park Cemetery, 7014 S. Rawson Bridge Rd, Cary, Il 60013. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. 30 N. Michigan Ave. Chicago, IL 60602. Dear Sabrina, I know we haven’t talked or seen each other in a long time. I was very sorry to hear about your dad’s passing….as i remember he was a very nice man….hope you and your family are well…ours are growing like weeds…..hope to see you sometime soon….still in same place, so stop in if you have time…..again, sorry about your dad….
