Obituary's Biography:

Sharon L. Welch (nee: Hendee), 81, of Round Lake, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015, peacefully at her home. She was born June 25, 1934 in Waukegan, IL to Elmer “Nibs” and Kathryn Hendee. She graduated from Grant High School in 1952 and went on to study nursing at St. Therese in Waukegan. On September 21, 1957 she married Robert Welch at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Round Lake, IL. She continued her nursing career until she became a full-time stay at home mother to her five children. Sharon is survived by her husband, Robert Welch, her children Robert (Patricia) Welch Jr. of Trevor, WI, Rennae (Randy) Talbert of Salem, WI, Ryan (Terrilyn) Welch of Johnsburg, IL and Randy (JerriLynn) Welch of McHenry, IL, her grandchildren Josh (Margie) Talbert, Katie (Jason) Hocin, Jake Welch, Kayla (Zach) Shannon, Preston Muehlfelder, Cody Welch, and Taylor Muehlfelder, and her first great-granddaughter on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Rhonda Welch Muehlfelder on May 11, 2000, and her brother Don Hendee. A memorial visitation is scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 10:00am until 11:00am with a memorial service commencing at 11:00am, at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Midwest Palliative & Hospice Care Center 2050 Claire Ct. Glenview, IL 60025.
