Obituary's Biography:
Sharon Kay Hardy-Gibbs, age 52, a resident of Spring Grove passed away Monday, December 25, 2017 at her home. She was born February 25, 1965 in Chicago to Frank and Alice Gibbs. She is survived by her children, Brittany Clark of Waukegan and Danny Hardy Jr. of Chicago; and grandchildren, Jayden Clark, Kaylee Clark, Xa’nya Bowen, and Raylan Hardy. A visitation and service are scheduled for Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 followed by a 5:00 p.m. funeral service. I’ve worked with Sharon for nearly 3 years. She was always in good spirits and had a sweet disposition. Sharon was in a very good space in her life that was filled with love, patience, understanding and happiness. Her laugh was infectious! You will be sorely missed by us all at the Lake Forest Post Office.

Amity Die and Stamping will truly miss this young lady. She always had a smile on her face and brought in special treats for our dog, Brody. We are all very sorry for your loss of this wonderful woman.
One of our favorite postal carriers, Sharon will be truly missed. Our hearts are broken, her daily visits were the best. We looked forward to her bright smile, and charming personality. She was the best part of the workday for our dogs Sugar and Wrigley. She always made them feel so special. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family, we’re very sorry for your loss.
