Obituary's Biography:
Scot Andrew Gallup, age 57, a resident of Fox Lake, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Cancer Treatment Center of America in Zion. He was born June 13, 1963 in Beloit, WI to Bruce Gallup and Judy Hayes Gallup Santi. He was a member of the North Suburban Mennonite Church in Mundelein. Scott attended Columbia College in Chicago and studied graphic design. He enjoyed a 34-year career in marketing and web design. He was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox fan. A music history buff, he loved music. His favorite band was Toto. In addition, he was a devout follower of Jesus Christ and he adored spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jaril Faith, who he married on June 1,1991 in Barrington; his mother, Judy Hayes Gallup Santi; his step-father, Denny Santi; his daughter, Sarah Gallup of Fox Lake; brother, Steve Gallup of Oak Park; sister-in-law, Lindsay Gallup of Oak Park; nephew Odin Gallup of Oak Park and niece, Vera Gallup of Oak Park. Scot was preceded in death by his father and several children by miscarriage. All services were held privately. Arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. We are so saddened to learn of Scot’s passing but know that he is with the Lord and that we will meet again. Scot and Faith were leaders in our first Small Group Bible Study and quickly became dear friends. We grateful for his friendship and how he shared his life with us.
