Obituary's Biography:
Samuel Carrillo, age 61, a resident of Round Lake, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Journey Care in Barrington. He was born June 21, 1956 in El Parral, Zacatecas, Mexico to Irineo and Josefa Carrillo. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Round Lake. Samuel is survived by his wife, Maria, whom he married 42 years ago in August of 1976 in Waukegan; his children, Lorena (Jose) Carranza of Palatine, Leticia (Jaime) Gonzalez of Volo, and Claudia (Richard) Free of Round Lake; his grandchildren, Cynthia Lainez of Volo, Edward Carranza of Palatine, Alex Carranza of Palatine, Julianna Gonzalez of Volo, and Alessandra Ava Free of Round Lake; his eleven brothers and sisters, Otelia (Tom) Flores, Edelmira Carrillo, Amelia (Juan) Ponce, Jesus (Ofelia) Carrillo, Raul (Dolores) Carrillo, Santos (Consuelo) Carrillo, Abraham (Josefa) Carrillo, Josepha (Manuel) Cervantes, Esperanza (Joaquin) Rojas, Gloria (Eloy) Ramos and Blanca (Fernando) Gallegos; and many nieces and nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by one sister, Enedina Silva. Friends of the family may visit from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 9:30am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 114 Lincoln Avenue, Round Lake, IL 60073, followed by interment at Ascension Catholic Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Road, Libertyville, IL 60048.
