Obituary's Biography:
Ronny Ray Curtis, age 56, a resident of Mundelein, IL passed away on February 2, 2023 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. He was born on July 17, 1966 in Waukegan, IL to Ronald Curtis and Carolyn Roberts. Ronny worked as a maintenance supervisor at Libertyville High School for 31 years. He loved playing guitar, wood working, gardening and volunteering at Camp Makajawan.
Ronny is survived by his wife, Rocio, of 15 years; his children, Tim Curtis of Georgetown, TX, Abi (Anthoni) Silva of Mundelein, Bethzy Chavez of Mundelein, and Brittany (James) Curtis-Bourdeau of Escanaba, MI; his grandchildren, Mason Curtis of Escanaba, MI and Rowan Bourdeau of Escanaba, MI; and his sisters, Teresa Hollis of Castroville, TX and Angel (Bud) Hency of Dover, TN. He was preceded in death by his son, Mike Curtis; and his parents.
A Funeral Service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 4:00pm. A visitation will be held at the funeral chapel on Tuesday from 2:00pm until the time of service. Interment will be held privately.
