Robert “Bob” E. Martell, 85, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Victory Lakes Nursing Center in Lindenhurst, IL. He was born August 6, 1934 in Evanston, IL. Bob was a member of St. Mary of Annunciation Catholic Church in Mundelein. He was a retired firefighter having worked for the Glencoe Fire Department. Bob is survived by his wife Kathleen “Kay”, whom he married on May 9, 1970, his children Steven R. (Lisa) Martell, and Lisa M. (Joseph) Witkowski, and his grandchildren Kylie and Davin Witkowski. A visitation is scheduled from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00pm on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. The funeral mass will be held Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 10:30am at St. Mary of Annunciation 22333 W. Erhart Rd. Mundelein, IL. Interment will be held privately at All Saints Cemetery.
