Patricia Loise Timmons (nee Gaughan) passed away Monday, July 31, 2017, after a valiant battle with cancer.  She was born January 8, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Loise and Gerard Gaughan.  For 54 years she was a devoted wife to Stephen E. Timmons, Sr.; a loving mother to Stephen Jr. (Ligita), Debra Plant (Robert), and Sharon Neustadt (Mark).  She was a caring daughter-in-law to the late Isabelle and William Timmons. Her grandchildren remember her as a fun-loving grandmother — Drew and Kyle Timmons, Tomas and Mindaugas Uzkurenas, Caitlyn, Megan, Sara, and Erin Plant, and Lauren and Dexter Neustadt.  Fond sister to Frances Solka (Bruce), (the late) Elizabeth, Mary Coyne (Timothy), and Peggy Brink (Thomas); a dear sister-in-law to Barbara Bame (the late James) and Jenifer Hahn (Mark); cherished by many nieces and nephews; she shall be deeply missed.

She loved her family, Thanksgiving, flowers, puzzles, and movies.  She had an eclectic taste in music which she shared with her family.  She could smell a bad bottle of milk 3 days before it went bad.  Her life was full of love, faith, and kindness.

Pearl R. Lambert, 73, a resident of Round Lake Beach, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Round Lake Beach.  She was born June 30, 1944 in Casper, WY to Raymond and Pearl Rowling.  Pearl loved sewing and crafting.  Pearl is survived by her children Shari (Andy) Levandowski, Jack (Sara) Lambert, Michael (Mary) Edwards, and Raymond (Liz) Edwards, her 8 grandchildren, her 7 great-grandchildren, and her sister Muriel Morris.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Leslie Waumbugh, and her sister Nancy Lewey.  A memorial visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 5:00pm until 7:30pm with a memorial service commencing at 7:30pm at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E. Katherine J. Wandall, 80, a resident of Grayslake, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017, at her home.  She was born September 11, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Walter and Kathlyn Sheahan.  Katherine is survived by her children John (Carol) Wandall, Mary Kay (Bill) Sutton, and Matthew (Michelle) Wandall, her grandchildren Lindsay, Mitchell, Clarice (Travis) Warren, Caroline Sutton, Melody Sutton, Lucas, and Sarah, and her sisters Rosemary Friel and Roberta Reinhold.  She was preceded in death by her parents and she was the grateful wife of Jack.  A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E. Margaret R. Fischer, 101, a resident of Zion, IL, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017 in Zion.  She was born May 29, 1916 in Kokomo, Indiana to Able and Sarah (nee: Cornet) Parker.  Margaret grew up on the family farm while living through the Great Depression.  She worked at Western Southern Life Insurance in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She moved to Illinois to be closer to her children and grandchildren. 

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Laura Branstetter; grandchildren, Lisa (Don) Jarrett, Robert (Connie) Branstetter, Valerie (Fred) Wicinski, Claudette (Stan) Gorsuch, Jackie (Frank) Kersey, Patti Holub; great grandchildren, Brian (Megan), Sarah, Mathew (April), Chelsea, Justin (Brandel), Kaity (Eric), Rebecca (Felipe), Courtney (Jourdan), Megan (Scott), Emily and James; and 12 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lemoine Ball, Charles Houze, and Robert Fischer; daughter, Sharon Lee James; 3 sisters; 8 brothers; great granddaughter Laura Lynn and Son’s-in-law Jack James and Eldon Branstetter.

James L. Osgaard, 88, a resident of Round Lake Beach, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.  He was born April 14, 1929 in LaCrosse, WI to Leslie and Elsie Osgaard.  James was a veteran having served for the Air Force.  He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Round Lake.  James is survived by his children Claudia (Rick) Niemann, Linda (Ross) Hart, Christine (Jeff Schultz) Skenandore, Robbin Annala, Cathleen Richards, Keith (Dawn) Schulz, and Colleen (John) Mitchell, his 12 grandchildren, and his numerous great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife June Osgaard.  A visitation and funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm with a funeral service commencing at 6:00pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church 420 N. Andrew Vargo, 93, a resident of New Jersey passed away July 8, 2017 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.  He was born January 16, 1924 in Woodbridge, NJ.

Susan Ann Mumford, 42, a resident of Fox Lake, IL passed away July 7, 2017 at Journey Care in Barrington, IL.  She was born September 7, 1974 in Waukegan, IL to Robert and Elizabeth (nee Oshinski) Mumford.  She was united in marriage to Richard Hammond in July of 2006.  Susan is survived by her husband, Richard Hammond; sons, Tyler and Alexander Mumford; daughter, Breanna Hammond; mother, Elizabeth Mumford; sisters, Kathlyn (Paul Berry) Mumford, Laura Calhoun and Linda Mumford; brothers, Kenneth (Jami) Mumford, Steven Mumford and Edward Mumford; granddaughters, McKenzi Mannes and Arya Mumford.

Leodegario L. Amponin Sr., 84, of Grayslake passed away on July 2, 2017 in Libertyville, Il at the Condell Medical Center .   He was born November 16, 1932 in the Philippines.  Leodegario liked to play Mahjong and was an avid watcher of basketball and  boxing.  Leodegario is survived by his children Maline (Harold) Orenstein of Skokie, IL, Malisa Garcia of Lewisville, TX, Chalee (Ruth) of Darien, IL, Arinda (Charles Jr.) Spicuzza of Chicago, IL, Stephen (Fe) of Grayslake, IL, Montri of Thailand, Leo Jr. (Dawn) of McHenry, IL, and Angela (Ronald) Anderson of Hainesville, IL.  He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, and his sister Patty Amponin.  He was preceded in death by his wife Nopharat Amponin,  his parents, and his 5 siblings.  A wake for Leodegario will be on Thursday, July 6 2017 from 4-8 P.M and on Friday, July 7 , 2017 from 4-8 P.M. with a funeral service starting at 8 P.M. on Friday, July 7.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.   Please call Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Wayne N. Struck, age 73, a resident of Round Lake Beach, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.  He was born on May 11, 1944 in Chicago to Edward and Lucille (nee Sobacki) Struck.  Wayne was a long time member of St. Paul’s, an avid Cubs fan who enjoyed going on car rides.  He loved to cook, enjoyed going to the Lakewood Forest Preserve to watch for deer, but most of all he loved his family.  He is survived by his daughter, Deborah, of Round Lake Beach and one brother, James (Katie) of Florida.  Wayne was preceded in death by his parents;  his wife of 27 years, Marcia-Lee; and two brothers, Donald and William.  Friends of the family may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 420 Greenwood Drive in Round Lake, IL 60073, followed by interment at Windridge Cemetery, 7014 South Rawson Bridge Road, Cary, IL 60013.  Arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. Sandra Jo Collier, age 72, a resident of Ingleside, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Centegra Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry.  She was born May 25, 1945 in Jackson, MI to Merle G. and Betty P. George A. Slosser Jr., 90, a resident of Grayslake, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Victory Lakes in Lindenhurst, IL.  He was born October 29, 1926 in Milwaukee, WI to Esther and George Slosser Sr.  George was past commander of American Legion in Round Lake Post 1170 and was a veteran of World War II having served in the US Navy.  He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Round Lake Park.  George loved to bowl and enjoyed fishing.  George is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty, and his sons Jack (Leslie) Slosser and Richard (Audrey) Slosser.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his 2 brothers, and 1 sister.  A visitation and service is scheduled for Sunday, June 18, 2017 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm with a service commencing at 2:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E.
