William Earl Clark Jr.

William Earl Clark Jr., 80, of Eagle River, WI, passed away Friday, January 24, 2014 at Aspirus Hospital, in Wausau, WI. He was born in Evanston on March 21, 1933 to William and Louise (nee Ellis) Clark. A farmer for over 50 years, William loved to travel and put on ceramic shows. He was also famous for his beef vegetable soup. He is survived by two daughters, Penny Bublitz and Jackie (Lee) Baillargeon, both of Wisconsin; a step-daughter, Beth Nelson, of Illinois; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betsey Kroeck of Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, John, and a sister, Eleanor. William J. Graham, a resident of Grayslake, IL passed away Monday January 27, 2014, at the age of 82. He was born October 21, 1931 in Chicago, IL to James and Katherine Graham. Bill was a Fireman for the Chicago Fire Department for many years. He loved to fish and had many dear friends. Charles J. Gillies, age 83, of Grayslake passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at his home. He was born February 21, 1930 in Chicago to Alexander and Florence (nee Wulf) Gillies. Charles loved to do woodworking, take walks at the Grove, visit Disney World, and spend time with his family. He is survived by his daughters, Susan (Wesley) Jelinski of South Elgin and Carol (Guy) Wolf of Winterhaven, FL; his grandchildren, Krista (Kevin) Billy of Pittsburgh, PA and Justin Jelinski of South Elgin; one great-grandchild, Dakota Billy; and one brother, Richard Gillies of Chicago. Robert R. Kuffell

Robert R. Kuffell, a resident of Grayslake and formerly of Chicago, passed away Sunday January 26, 2014 at the age of 82. Robert was a veteran of the Army having served during the Korean War and was a member of the IBEW Union Local #134. Robert was the loving husband of 57 years to Elaine, beloved brother to Gerald (Patricia) Kuffell and his deceased sister and brother-in-law Dolores (Hugo) DiStefano, wonderful father to Steve (Donna), Mike (Angela), Don (Grace), and Carol (Dave) Seeger, an adoring grandfather to Stephanie, Courtney, Brent, Amanda, Erik, Dylan, Lindsey, Matt, Megan, Kevin, Billy, Danny, and Julie, and a loving uncle to 4 nieces and nephews. Michael “Mike” A. Przybylo, a resident of Round Lake Beach, passed away Sunday January 26, 2014, at the age of 50. He was born May 2, 1963 in Chicago, IL to Allen and Juanda Greenspon. Michael was the loving husband of his late wife Jessica (nee: Jackson). Michael is survived by his parents Allen and Juanda Greenspon, his brother Robert (Sharon) of Lancaster, SC, his niece Monika of Round Lake Beach, his nephew Mathew (Emily) of Fort Myers, FL, his great-nieces Delilah and Amelia, his special friends Kitty, Todd, Josh, Bo, and Doug. He was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Evelyn Hommrich, his grandmother Verna Bork, his baby brother Joseph Przybylo, and his brother Timothy Przybylo on November 26, 2013. Mike loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking, camping, and climbing. His favorite spot was Devils Lake in Baraboo, WI. Clara Link, age 78, a resident of Round Lake, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at JourneyCare in Barrington. She was born February 5, 1935 in Germany to Olga and Ludwig Schroeder. Clara loved to crochet and cook, but, more than anything, she loved to be a Grandma. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Frank, whom she married on December 12, 1959 in Forest Park; sons, John (Carol) of Hainesville and Frank of Genoa City, WI; grandchildren, Catherine of Omaha, NE and David of Hainesville; and siblings, Siegfried (Jayne) Schroeder of Beloit, WI and Else Schmidt of Germany. Leonard E. Burge, 91, a resident of Naperville, and a former 80 year resident of Grayslake, passed away Thursday January 23, 2014. During his years in Grayslake, Leonard was employed at Rockenbach Chevrolet for 34 years and was very active in many church and local community organizations including serving for many years as a Board Member for the Grayslake Historical Society. Leonard was the beloved husband of Mary K, who preceded him in death in 2010, the loving father of Barbara (Art) Grant, Marilyn (Guy) Head, Gary (Mary) Burge, and Susanne (Scott) Dahl; dear grandfather of 14 grandchildren; and fond great-grandfather of 17 great-grandchildren. Gregory W. Jereb, a resident of Grayslake, passed away after a long illness on Friday January 17, 2014 at the age of 53. He was born March
30, 1960 in Waukegan, IL to William and Dorothy Jereb. Greg was very active and had a strong connection with nature and wildlife. He loved many outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, biking, skiing, and canoeing. Greg was a kind man and had a wonderful sense of humor. Carol J. Plyman, a resident of Grayslake, passed away Saturday January 18, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loved ones, at the age of 76. She was born December 7, 1937 in Chicago, IL to Peter and Bernice Bisgaard. Carol was a member of Faith Church in Grayslake and she had retired from Underwriter’s Laboratory. Carol is survived by her sons Jeffrey (Karen), David (Joann), and Daniel (Wendy), her sisters Barbara (George) Zuponeck and Betty (Ted) Wojtowicz, her brother Butch (Carole) Edgar, her sister-in-law Joyce (Tom) Rogers, her grandchildren Kyle, Kaitlin (fiancé Bryant Popp), Matthew, Ryan, Sarah, and Jason (Amy), her great-granddaughter Liahna, several dear nieces and nephews, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Layton whom she wed on April 25, 1959, her parents, and her sisters Peggy (Frank) Flores, and Merry (Bernie) Kainz. Henrietta “Hattie” Van La Moen Buerger, age 86, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday January 8, 2014 in Grayslake, IL. She was born February 20, 1927 in Kimberly, WI. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother who had countless adoring friends. Elsa Klara Guschwa, a resident of Grayslake, passed away Wednesday January 15, 2014 in Libertyville, IL at the age of 93. She was born May 27, 1920 in Germany to Frieda and Emil Feth. Elsa left Germany in 1975 to join her daughter Anita in Chicago. Elsa is survived by her daughter Anita (Howard) Remus of Grayslake, IL, her son Max Guschwa of Germany, her grandchildren Robert Abernathy of Carrollton, TX, Peter Abernathy of San Diego, CA, and Thomas Guschwa of Germany, and her great-grandchildren Taylor and Ryan Abernathy. Wilner “Bill” Hart

Wilner “Bill” Hart, passed away suddenly on Friday January 10th, 2014. He
was born in Akron Ohio on 12/12/1945 to Jessica née George and Vaughan Hart.
Upon graduation from Mundelein high school, Bill proudly served in the United
States Army Signal Corp. in Vietnam. Bill received the National Defense Service
Medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal with the Bronze Service Star.

After his tour of duty in Vietnam, he continued his education consisting of
Real Estate, Construction, and Building Codes. Bill also served on the Fox Lake
School Board from 1983-1988. He was a past District Chairman and past District
Commissioner of the local Boy Scouts of America. Bill worked for the Village of
Fox Lake for 18 years, last serving as Building Commissioner until his
retirement in February of 2010. He had been a member of BOCA, The Northwest
Building Officials and Code Administration of Illinois, and The Illinois Storm
Water Managers.

Bill enjoyed spending time with his family, boating on the Chain, was an
avid train enthusiast, including the building of his own garden railway. He was
a loving husband, supportive father and greatly enjoyed his grandson. He is
survived by his beloved wife Barbara née Davis, most adored daughter Yvonne
(Fiancé Major Scott Bissonnette), dear stepdaughters Heidi Cordina, Sharon
Cordina, most delightful grandson Brendan Cordina, and several nieces and
nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dr. Timothy Hart, and
sister Margaret Kelcey.

Arline Ruth Clavey, 86, of Grayslake, passed away Friday January 10, 2014 at Midwest Palliative and Hospice Care Center in Glenview, IL. She was born December 17, 1927 in Evanston, IL to Christian and Catherine Henrichsen. She had worked and earned her solo pilot’s license at Skyharbor Airport in Northbrook, IL early in her life where she met her husband. Arline is survived by her husband of 63 years, W. James Clavey Sr., whom she wed on February 17, 1950, loving mother to Kimberly Ann Clavey and Reverend W. James Clavey Jr., loving grandmother to Daniel W. Bergquist, Bradley J. Bergquist, and Steven M. Bergquist, a wonderful extended family, and dear compassionate friends, including those at Carillon North in Grayslake. She was preceded in death by her parents. Barbara Jo Klauber

Barbara Jo (Branson) Klauber, 55, went home to be with her Lord on January 4, 2014. She died unexpectedly in her sleep, at her home in Grayslake, Illinois. Barb, and her twin brother Bob, were born on November 2, 1958, in Oconto, Wisconsin, to Donald and Bonnie Branson. Barb grew up in Eau Claire and graduated from Eau Claire Memorial High School in 1977 where she was proud to sing with Memorial’s Madrigal Choir. Four years later she graduated from UW-Whitewater with a degree in Finance. With her degree she became one of the first female stock brokers in Eau Claire. Barb also lived and worked in Madison where she met Martin Klauber. Marty and Barb were united in marriage in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, on May 30, 1987. Barb worked in finance until the joyful births of their daughter, Bonnie Jo, and son, William Martin. She then made her home and family her priority, in Grayslake, Illinois. Faith and family meant so much to Barb. Each and every holiday was celebrated together. It was so important to her to celebrate these traditions with her entire family. She loved her Lord and continually
sought to learn and grow in her faith. Barb is survived by her husband Marty; daughter, Bonnie; son, Billy; her mother, Bonnie (George) Branson-Stone of Eau Claire; twin brother Bob (Jane) Branson of Hudson; sisters, Susan Stein (Todd Krueger), and Ruth (Ray) Nyland, all of Eau Claire. She will also be deeply missed by her loving nieces, nephews and cousins, including Johanna, Rachel and Dan Stein, Ben (Janet), Sarah and Davy Branson, Anna and Bobby Nyland. She is also survived by her husband Marty’s extended family. Barb was preceded in death by her father, Donald C. Michael K. Jeffers, 52, of Wildwood, passed away Saturday January 4, 2013 at his home. He was born August 31, 1961 in Waukegan to Edward and Nancy (nee: Knapp) Jeffers. Michael was an avid Cubs and Bears fan who like to fish and play golf. He loved to listen to Styx and just being with family and friends. Nykaza, age 69, of Grayslake, passed away January 1, 2014 in Shamrock, WI.  She was born June 22, 1945 in Chicago to Peter and Ann (nee: McGovern) Klug.  Judith was an avid snowmobiler, who loved spending time in Wisconsin at her family’s dream log home in the North Woods.  She loved being with her family and grandchildren and going on many family vacations.  Judith loved to cook and take care of others.  She was an excellent home designer.  Judith loved and adored her childhood sweetheart and husband of 51 years.  Judith is survived by her husband Robert, whom she wed on June 9, 1962 in Chicago, her children Robert Jr. of Barrington Hills, IL and Jeffrey Allen Sr. (Jennifer) of Lakemoor, IL, her grandchildren Ariana, Jeffrey Jr., Elizabeth, Mikayla, and Nathan, her siblings Dorothy Royal of Palatine and Lorraine (Joe) Godawa of Grayslake, her sister-in-law Sarah Klug of Virginia, her step-sister Kathy Rita of Bartlett, and many loving nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert Klug, and her sister Laverne Miltmore.  Friends of the family may visit at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Tuesday January 7, 2014 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.  The funeral mass is scheduled for Wednesday January 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Gilbert Catholic Church 301 E.
