Obituary's Biography:
Nancy J. Pease, 76, a resident of Grayslake, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday September 29, 2014. Nancy was born September 28, 1938 in Waukegan, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband Hon. George W. Pease, her parents Elwyn F. and Nelle S. Wightman, her brother James D. Wightman, her mother and father-in-law Marianne and George W. Pease Sr., her brothers-in-law Maurice DeLoof and Jack Pease, and her nephew Jeffrey Pease. Nancy is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Borowski and Emily (Jason) DeBates, her grandchildren Daniel and Alyssa Borowski, and Lily and George DeBates, her great-grandchild Levi Borowski, her sister Janet DeLoof, her sisters-in-law Eleanor Wightman and Ann Pease, her nephews Jeffrey (Cyndi) and James (Marsha) DeLoof, Thomas (Ursula) and Charles Wightman, and Jack Pease Jr., her nieces Amy (Todd) Doyle, Lori (John) Bell, Jayne (John) Kegg, and Diane Boand, and too many friends to mention. She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waukegan, a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority, and a graduate of University of Illinois. She was a life member of Grayslake Historical Society and Waukegan Historical Society, a member of General Society of Mayflower Descendants, National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution, Little Fort Chapter, National Society Colonial Dames XVII Century, P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter AP, Fremont Township Republicans, and The Heritage Foundation. A visitation is scheduled for Saturday October 4, 2014 from 10:00am until 11:00am with a funeral service commencing at 11:00am at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church 1310 N. Frolic Ave. Waukegan, IL. A private burial will take place at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL. Memorial donations may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Evangelical Church in Waukegan. Nancy was a longtime member of the Republican Assembly of Lake County and a lovely person. She will be greatly missed. Our prayers are with her family.
