Nadia Begin

Obituary's Biography:

Nadia Begin, age 90, of Chicago, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at Forest Edge Nursing Home in Chicago.  She was born in the Ukraine on April 15, 1923.  Nadia loved gardening and cooking.  She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Mungle, of Round Lake;  her grandchildren, Peter (Ashley) Stoczanskyj of Nebraska, Mark Stoczanskyj of Grayslake, and Angie Stoczanskyj of Ingleside; and her great-grandchildren, Mikey, Natalie and Anya.  Nadia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Peter Begin, and her son-in-law, Mike Stoczanskyj.  Friends of the family may visit from 6 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with the funeral service commencing at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013 at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.  For information, call 847-223-8122 or visit www.strangfuneral.org.
