Obituary's Biography:
Mildred “Millie” Pappa, formerly a longtime Grayslake resident, having celebrated her 90th birthday this spring, passed away Tuesday morning, Oct. 8, 2013 at Advocate Condell in Libertyville. She was born in Chicago on May 20, 1923 to the now late Anthony and Mary {nee Czapka} Wojdyla. Millie was the loving mother of Carol (Chet) Bielen, Jean (Jim) Terryberry, Don (Tina) Pappa, Larry (Lynne) Pappa, Gary (the recently late Marlene) Pappa, Michael (Peg) Pappa, and Cathy (Joe) Saviano; the cherished grandmother of 20; adoring great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother to many; the fond aunt, great-aunt, and cousin to numerous. Her husband Joseph, a brother and a sister preceded her in death. Friends of the family may visit at on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. Mass of the Resurrection will follow at St. Gilbert Catholic Church, 301 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030, commencing at 11:30. Interment will be held at Maryhill Cemetery, 8600 N.
