Miguel Ceja, 88, a resident of McHenry, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. He was born April 23, 1930 in Michoacan, Mexico to Juan Ceja and Maria Refujio Alvarez. Miguel is survived by his wife of 47 years, Alicia Corona, whom he wed on January 26, 1972 in Waukegan, IL, his children Ruben Ceja of Chicago, Maria Del Refujio of Jan Juanico, Mexico, Juan Ceja of Bolingbrook, IL, Miguel Ceja of Waukesha, WI, Gabriel Ceja of Chicago, IL, Elvia Ceja Naranjo of Chicago, IL, Arnulfo Ceja of San Juanico, Mexico, Rosa Ceja Mena of Chicago, IL, Michael Corona of McHenry, IL, Jose Antonio Corona of McHenry, and Alma Corona Tovar, his grandchildren, Veronica, Johnny, Crystal, Daniel, Jasmine, Belen, Julian, Abigail, Eduardo, Victor, Stephanie, Hugo, Lupita, Mikey, Luis, Katherine, Jorge, Mariela, Carlos, Victor, Cruz, Carlos, Cecilia, Carolina, Evelyn, Jocelyn, Lupita, Isaac, Isaiah, Umberto, Dominick, Ulises, Marisol, Alejandra, and 29 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Juan Ceja and his mother Maria Refujio Alvarez A visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 15, 2019 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. The funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 10:00am at the St. Peter Catholic Church 27551 Volo Village Rd, Volo, IL 60073.
