Maurice K. Shiu

Obituary's Biography:

Maurice K. Shiu, 84, a resident of Barrington, IL, passed away September 22, 2022 at his home.  He was born February 11, 1938 in Chicago, IL to Maurice P. and Georgiann Shiu.

Maurice was a veteran having served with the US Marines.  He enjoyed watching Chicago sports.

Maurice is survived by Mona Shiu, his son Christian Shiu, his sister Carolyn Chiang, his nephew Eric, and his niece Jenny.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 30, 2022 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.  A funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Mary of Annunciation 22333 W. Erhart Rd.
