Marilyn J. Sowin

Obituary's Biography:

Marilyn J. Sowin, 93, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at her home.  She was born March 14, 1928 in Janesville, WI to Herbert and Dorothy Bergman.  During her life she enjoyed spending time with friends and family, singing, and she was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan.

Marilyn is survived by her sons Thomas (Constance) Sowin PhD and John Sowin MD, her grandchildren James, Kimberly, Nicole, Laura, Jennifer, Stephanie, and Matthew Sowin, and her siblings Carole Ann Adamack and Nancy (Douglas) Callison.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas Sr., and her brother Gerald Bergman.  A funeral mass and visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 10:00am until 11:00am with the funeral mass commencing at 11:00am at St. Gilbert Catholic Church 301 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030.  The burial will follow the service at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.  All funeral arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E.
