Obituary's Biography:
Luisa Bardales-Carcamo,69, has been called home to the Lord on January 31, 2020, surrounded by her family. Her life’s mission has been completed.
Luisa was born in Salama Honduras on March 23, 1950, and at the age of 29 she made a life changing decision to move to Waukegan, IL for a better future, where she blossomed and raised her family.
Luisa was a loving mother of Nancy Aguilar, Ana Flores and Carolina Medina; devoted grandmother of Carolina, Anthony, Audriana, Jennifer, Brianna, Carlos, Elizabeth Victoria and great grandmother of Sophia, and a loving sister of Lorenzo, Alejandro and Marta Carcamo. She was preceded in death by her parents Lorenzo Antonio and Admirable Carcamo.
Family was the great gift she would say God had blessed her with and she made it her mission to always make sure her family was where it needed to be. She prided herself on being the best mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and daughter she could be. Luisa was known to have a passion for cooking and during family gatherings, cooking was one thing that always brought her family together. During her final days it brought her joy talking about her recipes and passing them down to continue her love of cooking.
Please adhere to her request of no black or red attire to be worn at both her visitation and her mass, her service is a celebration of life. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, February 7, 2020 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. The funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 10:00am at St. Paul the Apostle 6401 Gages Lake Rd. Gurnee, IL 60030. Interment will be held privately.
