Obituary's Biography:

Luis Alberto Santiago, age 64, of Round Lake Beach passed away on July 5, 2021 at his home. He was born on September 29, 1956 in Puerto Rico to Gilberto and Cruzita (nee Heredia) Santiago. Luis was a nature lover by heart, and he loved to spend his time fishing. But most of all he loved and cherished his family.

Luis is survived by his wife of 20 years, Michelle; his children, Ilene (Doug) Kapitanski of New Berlin, Sarah (Fiancé Sal Arreola) of Round Lake, Sam (Audrey) Santiago of Fox Lake, and Nick (Katrina) Santiago of Gurnee; his eight grandchildren, Nereida, Kasia, Abby, Peyton, Preston, Lydia, Arabella, and Silas. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Migdalia.

A funeral service will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Thursday, July 8 at 11am. A visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral chapel from 10:00am until the time of service. Internment will be held at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.
