Lourdes J. Calulot

Obituary's Biography:

Lourdes “Ending” Juralbal Calulot, 81, a resident of Round Lake, IL, passed away June 1, 2019 at Warren Barr in Lincolnshire, IL.  She was born May 8, 1938 in Matayumtayum, Tarlac Philippines to Hermogenes Juralbal and Marcelina Martinez.  Ending was a loving mother who managed to raise her kids on her own.  She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and adored her great-grandchildren.  Her passions included cooking, sewing, and watching Filipino soap operas.  She also had a green thumb and enjoyed planting roses, money trees, and fortune plants.  She shared these passions and touched so many lives, and she has been respected by all who knew her.  She is survived by her former husband Lolito Calulot Sr., her children Marivic (Cipriano) Espino of Las Vegas, NV, Mildred (Erwin) Santiago of Round Lake, IL, Medilyn (Tim) Whitelock of South Korea, Marites (Rainier 2007) Medrano of Round Lake, and Lolito (Madelyn) Calulot Jr. of Helotes, TX, her grandchildren Lauren Medrano of Round Lake, IL, Erwin (Ryma) Santiago Jr. of Gurnee, IL, Meghan (Viktor) Ascencio of Round Lake, IL, Liezel Calulot of Helotes, TX, Kristen Espino of Las Vegas, NV, Jerwin Santiago of Round Lake, IL and Lindel Calulot of Helotes, TX, her 4 great-grandchildren Reign, Naomi, Penelope, and Zoey, and her siblings Adoracion Juralbal of Quezon City, Philippines and Filipina Guzman of Matayumtayum, Philippines.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Rosalina Sahagun, her brothers Felino Juralbal and Rogelio Juralbal, and her son-in-law Rainier Medrano.  A memorial visitation and service is scheduled for Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 10:00am until 2:00pm with the memorial service beginning at 2:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd.
