Obituary's Biography:

Lillian R. Schmitt, 100, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away April 26, 2021. She was born August 11, 1920 in Long Island, NY to John and Lillian O’Brien. Lillian was a member of St. Mary of Annunciation in Mundelein. She was an avid knitter, reader, and enjoyed Sudoku. Lillian is survived by her daughters Carol Fletcher and Jeanne (Jack) Ludington, her granddaughters Katy (Kyle) Harvey and Amy (Robert) Klie, and her great-grandchildren Lily Harvey, Nora Harvey, Max Klie and Sophie Klie. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur Schmitt, and her sister Lorraine Heffron. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, April 30, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Mary of Annunciation 22333 W. Erhart Rd. Mundelein, IL 60060. Interment will be held immediately after the service at St. Mary Cemetery next to the church. All funeral arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E.
