Leodegario L. Amponin Sr., 84, of Grayslake passed away on July 2, 2017 in Libertyville, Il at the Condell Medical Center . He was born November 16, 1932 in the Philippines. Leodegario liked to play Mahjong and was an avid watcher of basketball and boxing. Leodegario is survived by his children Maline (Harold) Orenstein of Skokie, IL, Malisa Garcia of Lewisville, TX, Chalee (Ruth) of Darien, IL, Arinda (Charles Jr.) Spicuzza of Chicago, IL, Stephen (Fe) of Grayslake, IL, Montri of Thailand, Leo Jr. (Dawn) of McHenry, IL, and Angela (Ronald) Anderson of Hainesville, IL. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, and his sister Patty Amponin. He was preceded in death by his wife Nopharat Amponin, his parents, and his 5 siblings. A wake for Leodegario will be on Thursday, July 6 2017 from 4-8 P.M and on Friday, July 7 , 2017 from 4-8 P.M. with a funeral service starting at 8 P.M. on Friday, July 7.
