Obituary's Biography:
Lawrence “Larry” R. Fox, 86, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away November 6, 2018 at his home. He was born January 25, 1932 in Waukegan to Lawrence and Mary Fox. Larry was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War, earning the Combat Infantry Badge, United Nations Korea Medal, Nation Defense Service Medal, and Korean Service Medal with 2 Bronze Stars. He was a member of the Operators Union 150 and a member of St. Mary of Annunciation in Mundelein. Larry was a lifelong workaholic and enjoyed boating. He was a loving man who was well liked by everyone he knew. He was always willing to give a helping hand and will be terribly missed by all. Larry is survived by his children Lori (Lee) Jurka, Larry A. (Linda) Fox, and Brenda R. Fox, his grandchildren Brad (Kathy) Fox and Rob (Elizabeth) Fox, with a great-grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Bernice Fox. All arrangements were entrusted to Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030.
