Obituary's Biography:
Lawrence “Larry” Crowell, 60, of Third Lake, IL, passed away on April 8, 2025 at his home. He was born on January 2, 1965 in Racine, WI. He was the kind of man who helped anyone who needed it. He was trustworthy and dependable. He was proud to have served his country in the Army during the Cold War, stationed in Alaska and Colorado, could be extremely funny, and had a keen intellect. He loved his family and protected the people he cared about. He will be missed very much.
Larry is survived by his wife of 10 years, Kelly Chenault; his children, Sarah Crowell of Racine, WI, and Rian Crowell of Delaven, WI; his siblings, Brian Scramm of Racine, WI, and Veronica Hernandez of Racine, WI.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 2pm until 4pm. Interment will be held privately. Sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. I hadn’t seen him in years, but long ago when we were kids, we grew up on the same street in Racine. RIP old friend.
