Obituary's Biography:

LLarry G. Fletcher , 75, a resident of Lake Villa, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. He was born December 31, 1943 in Freeburn, KY to Milton and Lillian “June” Fletcher. Larry was retired from Pepper Construction in Barrington after 39 years of dedicated service. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching the History and Discovery Channel. Larry enjoyed travelling with his family in his younger days having a great fondness for the Appalachian Mountains, camping, and being outdoors, especially working in the yard. Larry is survived by his children Carol Will and Larry Gene Fletcher, his grandchildren, Amanda (DeVone) Patterson, Bradley (Shannah) Brinegar, Sara (Alex) Garay, Jessica Will, Kayla Fletcher, Brandi Fletcher, Samantha Fletcher, and Michael MacDonald, his great-grandchildren, Destynee, Aaleyiah, , lil’DeVone, Tina, Khloe, lil’Brad, Blake, Armani, Ariana, Markecia, Lorenzo, Emily, Aiden, and Paisley, his sister Brenda (the late Joe) Tomsovic, his mother-in-law Alma Weglarek, his sister-in-law Mary Koehn, his nephews, Jason Weglarek and Jonathan Weglarek, his cousin Chuck Barrett, and his special friends Debbie Schaedel-Karlsen, Jessica Chase, and Walter Ori, his cat Kuddles. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene, his daughter Laura Brinegar, his brother Therman Fletcher, his sisters Pamela Adkins, and Linda Kay Fletcher, and his cat Snowflake. A visitation and funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 12:00pm until 4:00pm with the funeral service commencing at 4:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. Interment will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to the Lakeland Baptist Church 24551 W Grand Ave, Lake Villa, IL 60046.
