Obituary's Biography:
Karen Marie Cohen, age 54, a resident of Grayslake, IL passed away on November 23, 2022 at her home. She was born on April 27, 1968 in Waukegan, IL to Jay and Nancy Owens.
Karen was a proud member of the Lord of Glory Church for many years.
Karen is survived by her husband of 32 years, Marc Cohen, her son Erik Cohen, her mother Nancy Owens, and her sister Kathleen Owens. She is preceded in death by her father, Jay Owens, and her grandparents, John and Helen Lindquist, Ina Matz, and Jasper Owens.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Karen’s name to Save-A-Pet P.O. Box 266 Grayslake, IL. 60030.

My deepest condolences and sympathies to your family. I knew Karen many years ago and she still holds a warm and special place in my heart. She was always kind, generous and had a crazy sense of humor hidden behind a shy exterior. She had a great laugh. RIP my friend. You fought long and hard and won the grand prize, a place in Heaven where all angels belong.

I can’t even begin to express my sadness for the loss of Karen. I enjoyed working with her and having her friendship. She was a beautiful person who lit up a room with her smile , her laughter and her general presence. She was truly the epitome of kindness and goodness.
Your family has my deepest condolences and I pray God will embrace all of you as you navigate the waters of sorrow.
I will miss you Karen but I know you are an angel now in heaven with no more pain or struggles, just peace and love.
