Obituary's Biography:

Joy Rene Grubbs, 56, a resident of Gurnee, passed away December 8, 2015 at the Cancer Center of America in Zion, IL. She was born June 28, 1959 in Waukegan to Russ and Marlene Constantino. Joy was a member of St. Patrick’s Church as were her children. She had been in the Mortgage Industry for over 30 years. Joy had the most contagious laugh that anyone will ever hear. She was a wonderful daughter to Marlene and Russ Constantino, a wonderful sister to her brothers, she was the best and loving mother to her 2 beautiful kids, Brittney and Megan, and the best grandma to Julia Joy. Joy knew many people and was loved by many and was known as one of the biggest animal lovers you could know. Joy is survived by her mother Marlene Constantino, her children Brittney Grubbs of Gulf Breeze, FL and Megan (Chris) Burton of Poplar Grove, IL, her granddaughter Julia Joy Grubbs of Gulf Breeze, FL, and her brother Glen Constantino of Pensacola, FL. She was preceded in death by her father Russ Constantino and her brother Scott Constantino. Friends of the family may visit on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. with a memorial service to commence at 2:00pm at STRANG FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATORIUM, 410 East Belvidere Road (Route 120), Grayslake, IL 60030.
