Jose Pedro Rojas, age 81, a resident of Mundelein passed away on October 18, 2021 in Libertyville. He was born on October 12, 1940 to Ruperto and Julia Rojas. He was a member of Santa Maria de Popolo Catholic Church in Mundelein. Jose is survived by his wife, Cleotilde, his children, Julia (Salvador) Abonce, Salomon Rojas, Socorro (Mariano) Garcia, Teresa Huerta, Jose (Rosalva) Rojas, and Soledad (Victor) Nava; his grandchildren, Rosario Ibarra, Elizabeth Sarmiento, Teresa Arellano, Patricia Arellano, Griselda Perales, Gardenia Shallenburger, Salvador Jr. Abonce, Josef Rojas, Gael Rojas, Mariano Jr. Garcia, Leonardo Garcia, Alondra Nava, Victor Adolfo Nava, and Agda Lucia Nava; his 17 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Magdalena Rojas, Lupe Rojas, Esperansa Rojas, Cuca Rojas, Manuel Rojas, Ruperto Rojas, and Jesus Rojas. A funeral Mass will be held at Santa Maria del Popolo Catholic Church, 116 N Lake St, Mundelein, IL 60060 on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 10:00am. A visitation will be held at Strang Funeral Chapel, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030 on Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
