Jerry J. Herron, Sr., age 73, of Grayslake, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 in Libertyville. He was born on September 14, 1946 in Chicago to Garfield and Rose Herron. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Linda; son, Jerry (Chris) Herron, Jr.; granddaughter, Morgan Herron; and siblings, James (Joann) Herron, Carolyn Sowell, and Maryann (Raymond) Lawrence. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary Herron. A visitation and funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 10:00am until 11:00am with the funeral service commencing at 11:00am at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E.
