James E. Peters

Obituary's Biography:

James E. Peters, 63, a resident of Wildwood, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at his home.  He was born September 7, 1953 to the late Chester and Katherine Peters of Round Lake.  In 1986 he married Nancy (nee: Lindskog) Aeverman, in addition to his wife he is survived by his daughters, Frances Kozanecki and Antoinette (Jimmy) Tonias, his step-children Joseph (Rosie) and Jason (Lindsey) Aeverman, and Misty (Jonathan) Szewczyk, 11 grandchildren, his brother Fred (Sharon) Peters, his sisters Mary Jo Sparrow and Jeanne (Eric) Koenig, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his first wife Georgene Peleska and a brother-in-law, Greg Sparrow.  Jim worked at State Oil Company in Libertyville for over 45 years.  A visitation is scheduled for Monday, May 15, 2017 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 10:00am at the funeral chapel.
