Obituary's Biography:

Jacqueline “Jackie” S. Waldron, 50, of Gurnee, IL, passed away on March 4, 2025, at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital. She was born on August 31, 1974, in Waukegan, IL, to James and Jo Ann Waldron.

Jackie was a devoted member of Gurnee Community Church, where she found joy in volunteering and participating in various groups. She was a loving and involved mother who cherished spending time with her children. Jackie loved camping with her children and loved visiting national parks and walking around in them. Jackie and Gracelyn loved watching their favorite shows together and she loved her time with Oli driving around and spending time together. Jackie would enjoy watching Cora design all her crafts. Jackie also loved her cats Tic, Tac and Toe. 

She is survived by her parents, Jo Ann and James Waldron; her beloved children, Hailey “Oli” Petrovic, Gracelyn Petrovic, and Cora Petrovic; her brother, Joe (Tasha) Waldron, and their children, Katelynn and Samuel; her cousin, Chris (Chelsea) Mullally, and their children, Keagan (Kylee), Luke, Kaycee, and Matthew. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her godmother.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake, IL 60030. Visitation will continue on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Gurnee Community Church, 4555 Old Grand Ave., Gurnee, IL 60031, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Millburn Cemetery in Millburn, IL.
