Herbert S. Ardell III
Obituary's Biography:
Herbert S. Ardell III, 91, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away May 21, 2024 at his home. He was born July 1, 1932 in Williamsport, PA to Herbert and Kathryn Ardell.
He grew up in Marlinton, WV. After high School he joined the U.S. Army and served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. In 1964 he began work in the computer operations department at A.B. Dick Company in Niles, IL. He retired in 1994 after a 30-year career. He was an avid photographer and enjoyed genealogy.
Herbert is survived by his children Ross (Caroline) Ardell, Stacy (Robert) Hall, Doug (Nancy) Ardell, and David (Liz) Ardell, his grandchildren Christopher (Krysten) Ardell, Matthew (Stephanie) Ardell, Hanna Hall, Hunter Hall, Elle Hall, Hailey Ardell, J.T. Ardell, and Grant Ardell, and his great-grandchildren Serai, Camden, Adrian, Amelia, and Colton. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother George Ardell.
