Henry C. Pletcher

Obituary's Biography:

Henry Clyde Pletcher, age 72, of Round Lake, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. He was born in Chicago on January 11, 1943 to Raymond and Margaret (nee DePyssler) Pletcher. Henry was a United States Marine vet who loved to fish and go camping. He also enjoyed trains and was an avid Cubs fan , Henry belonged to the I.B.E.W local 134 electricians for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, whom he married 48 years ago on March 11, 1967 in Chicago; his children, Mary (David) Pletcher-Yaris and Raymond (Shay) Pletcher; his grandchildren, Kyle Broome, Zachery Broome, Courtney Sky Pletcher and Marcus Pletcher; and his brother, Edward (Jeanette) Pletcher. He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Suzanne Rehm, one brother, Raymond, and one sister, Ann Repholz. Friends of the family may visit on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. The funeral service will be Thursday, January 7, 2016 also at Strang Funeral Chapel at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Grant Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors.
