Obituary's Biography:
George W. Everitt, 78, a resident of Round Lake Beach, IL passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Advocate Condell Medical Center. He was born October 7, 1936 in Chicago, IL to George and Koloma Everitt. George was a veteran having served with the US Marines. He was a member of the 801 Marine Corp League, the Libertyville Masons, the Operating Engineers Local 150, and Calvary Presbyterian Church. George is survived by his life partner Jan Motzko, his children Gregory Everitt, Lynn Manning, Donna Gavin, Jeanine (Bart) Everitt-Beaver, Jeff (Julie) Everitt, Marianne (Jeff) Janka, and Peggy Motzko, an his grandchildren Sarah, Liam, Leonard, Zachary, Joe, Katie, Lilly, and Emma. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Geraldine. A visitation is scheduled for Sunday March 1, 2015 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm with a funeral service commencing at 7:00pm Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL. The Passing of Marine George Everitt brings on a sad day. He was one of the most intelligent men I’ve known. He’s delivery and command of the English language was a master piece of his talents. George, Marine brother, great friend and confidant over the years you will be greatly missed.
