I met George on the steps of the Waukegan court house in Sept of 1950. We were enlisted in the Air Force. We became friends on our train ride to Lackland AFB, for Basic training, . While we were separated after Basic we remained friends for the rest of our lives. I enjoyed the friendship of George and will miss his smile and humor.
