Obituary's Biography:
Edward R. Suris, 57, a lifelong resident of Grayslake, passed away suddenly on July 3, 2015, at his home. He was born February 15, 1958 in Waukegan, IL to Rodolfo and Eladia Suris. Edward had a passion for music, playing with his brother in their band, Eclipse. He was a veteran having served with the US Navy and owned and operated his own contracting business. Edward loved to travel and visited many locations throughout the United States. Edward is survived by his mother Eladia, his siblings George (Shelley) Suris, Lourdes (Terrence) Suris-Longtin, and Doris (Dr. Rey) Martinez, his nieces and nephews Joshua, Justin, Jason (Sara), Michele, and Rudy Suris, and Ryan and Austin Martinez, his great-nieces Brihanna Suris, Ellen Cassel, and Olivia Suris, and numerous cousins. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday July 7, 2015 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM with a funeral service commencing at 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 E Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. my deepest sympathy goes out to all the Suris family. Eddie was a great guy, and will be missed by so many.
When I heard from my dad yesterday – Jose I. Alfonso about Edward’s passing. I was deeply saddened. My deepest sympathy goes out to Suris familia -family. To be absent from the body is to be present with our LORD.

I had not heard this sad news until this morning. It has been great being in touch with Eddie through FB these past several years. I know that he was a very spiritual man, and I valued his friendship. The love he has for his family is still alive in our own hearts. My deepest condolences to all of Eddie’s family.
We love and miss you Eddie more than words can say. You are always in our thoughts and prayers. May God hold you close to His heart.
