Obituary's Biography:

Earl L. Kleven, age 88, a resident of Round Lake, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Victory Lakes in Lindenhurst. He was born on June 19, 1928 in Chicago to Earling and Frieda Kleven. Earl was a U.S. Navy veteran serving aboard the USS Philippine Sea (CU47) aircraft carrier. He was a Round Lake area resident for over 75 years and was an employee for over 35 years with Com Ed serving in the Substation Division. In his spare time, he was an avid fisherman, golfer and bowler. Earl is survived by one son, Bradley (Diane); two granddaughters, Karissa (Kyle) Gretebeck of Wauwatosa, WI and Lacey Kleven of Oak Creek, WI; and one great-granddaughter, Evie Grace Gretebeck. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 47 years, Suzanne Kleven, whom he married on November 1, 1952; and a brother, Kenneth Kleven. All services were held privately.
