Dorothy B. Imperiale, a resident of Vernon Hills, passed away February 16, 2014, at the age of 90. She was born February 23, 1923 in Chicago to Charles and Catherine Schrieber. Dorothy loved to sew, knit, and crochet. She was an avid reader and adored cats. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kasper, whom she wed on June 26 in Chicago, her children Katherine (Joe) Blandi of Willow Brook, IL, Rose Crowe of Hainesville, IL, Mary (Steve) Lark of Colgate, WI, Sue (Rick) Dunn of Grayslake, IL, and Chris (Susan) of Lake Villa, IL, her 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Thomas and Richard.
