Obituary's Biography:

Dean S. Bakos, 71, a resident of Gurnee passed away Saturday November 22, 2014. He was born March 3, 1943 in Chicago to George and Mary Bakos. Dean was a veteran having served for the Army, had worked of IDOT (Illinois Dept. of Transportation) for 25 years, and was a beloved friend to many. Dean is survived by his wife Mary (nee: O’Connor), his children Daniel Bakos, Joie O’Connor, and Jessica O’Connor, and his sister Dorris Rizzos. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Joanne Hanges. Friends of the family may visit on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with a memorial service commencing at 1:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd.
