Obituary's Biography:
Dean C Bowyer 76, a resident of Lindenhurst, IL. Passed away March 2, 2022 at Cancer Treatment Center in Zion, IL. He was born December 12, 1945 in Evanston, IL. to Lloyd & Helen Bowyer.
Dean is survived by his wife Madelyn, whom he wed on April 16, 1966 at St. Andrews church in Grayslake, IL, his Son Max (Tammy) Bowyer Libertyville, IL,his grandchildren Kaylie & Colby, his sister JoAnn (Richard) Flament, his brothers-in-law Wayne (Jacquie) Wodach, Brett (Linda) Wodach, his niece and nephews Brad (Rachel) Flament, Brian (Janel) Flament, Jeni (Jeff) Stropkey. He loved his grand dogs Black dog (Jax), and Axel.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd & Helen Bowyer, and his son Van Bowyer.
Dean loved his career as a Local 1 Ironworker for over 40 years in Chicago. Anyone that knew him, knew he loved to joke and have a good time.
He loved his Corvettes, traveling on road trips out West, and locally to Door County and Michigan. Dean was an avid reader and had a special interest in history.
He was a fabulous cook well known through the family for his ribs and chili.
The family is having a Celebration of life at a later date. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens in Oak Brook Terrace, IL.
