Obituary's Biography:

Connie K. Kohnke, 60, a resident of Lake Villa, IL, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. She was born June 4, 1959 in Chicago, IL to Charles and Esther Kohnke. Connie loved working at the schools in Round Lake as a secretary. She enjoyed animals and especially loved kids. Connie is survived by her mother Esther Kohnke; her brothers Mark (Pam) Kohnke and Anthony (Kelli) Kohnke; her nephews and nieces Mackenzie Kohnke, Amber Kohnke, Samantha Kohnke, and Sarah Kohnke, and Michiel Smolen, Joshua Smolen, and Nicholas Smolen; and her great-niece Avarie Harris. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles, and her sister Jackie Kohnke. A visitation and funeral service is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00pm with a funeral service commencing at 3:00pm on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
