Obituary's Biography:

Christopher J. Pickard, 32, a resident of Lindenhurst, IL, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018.  He was born May 10, 1985 in Lake Forest to Kelly Pickard and Scott Buschick.  Chris loved the Chicago Bears and practical jokes.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his daughters.  Chris is survived by his parents, Kelly Pickard and Scott Buschick, his daughters Mackenzie and Jaida Pickard, the mother of his children Jody English, his brother Nicholas Pickard, his grandparents Ed and Lola Buschick, his uncle Jason (Stephanie) Pickard, and his cousins Aric, Kody, Sean, and Lexi Pickard.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Sandy and Don Mobley.  A visitation and memorial service is scheduled for Friday, May 4, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm with a memorial service commencing at 8:00pm at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium 410 E.   3. Christopher Jordan Pickard, you were my best friend and the most loving boyfriend a girl could have. Knowing you 6+ years was not enough. You meant the world to me and you will continue to mean the world to me until the end. You were the biggest part of my life and I was so glad to be a huge piece of your life the past 2.5 years when you were having the hardest time. You were family. You were comfortable at my home and loved my parents like your own. They miss you each day just as much as I do. I wish this day never came because we had so many things to do in the future. I know how much you love your girls and I know you’ll be looking down on them. I’ve already gotten messages from you and I can’t wait to get more. You’ll always have a big piece of my heart. You are missed more than you know. I’ll love you forever.

  7. There was only one Chris Pickard and my life was made better because he was apart of it.Thank you, my friend, for all the love and memories. Man did we have stories ones that I will tell the rest of my life and smile and think of him when I do. Chris was a great father when we lived together I would overhear him on the phone with his daughters praying with them before bed. He was a brother to me. My heart goes out to everyone who shares this terrible loss of such a loyal and beautiful man. I’m so honored to have had him in my life. I can’t express in words how deeply I will miss him. We sure could make each other laugh. Deepest condolences to everyone for this loss.

  12. I am so sorry for your loss Kelly! Chris and I have known each other since grade school. His mom and I grew a relationship as well. They are both wonderful, beautiful people, funny, and just full of life. It was a blessing to have them in my life as long as I did. I am praying for his family and little girls. I pray they all can heal from their loss and know the lord has a special place for him. He is now our angel watching over his beautiful little girls. God bless you all! Rest in paradise big guy!
