Obituary's Biography:

Christopher James Knauf, 48, of Lindenhurst, IL, passed away on January 21, 2025, at his home.  He was born on January 23, 1976, in Waukegan to James and Jane (nee Koch) Knauf.

Christopher is survived by his father, James; his daughter, Emmie Jane; his loving partner for 3 years, Angela; his sister, Dawn Marie (John Bonnot); and many aunts, uncles, cousins and niece. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jane; his niece, Dora Betancourt, and his aunt Roberta Bischoffer.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 420 Greenwood Drive, Round Lake Park, IL 60073 on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 4pm.  A memorial visitation will be held at church on Saturday, February 15th from 1pm until 4pm.  Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please make donations for Christopher’s daughter, sending to Edward Jones, C/O Melissa Kahn, Financial Advisor 4705 Theater Drive Evansville, IN 47715 812-477-6978, in the memo line please put Emmie Jane.

    We message each other about fishing and the past. Through out the years. Played basketball for the RLHS Panthers. I was just a little squid and he showed me a lot during the season. He will be missed.
