Obituary's Biography:

Betty J. Mack, 90, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at her home with her daughter by her side. She was born April 7, 1930 in Chicago, IL to John and Regina Kasian. Betty was a member of St. Gilbert Catholic Church for over 60 years. She enjoyed her social life by having friends visit, especially her lifelong friend of over 80 years, Jackie, and spending time with her grandchildren. Betty is survived by her children James (Susan) Manarik, her daughter-in-law Jane Manarik, John (Margarita) Manarik, and Joanne (Shadrach) Manarik, her step-son Bob (Berta) Mack, her grandchildren Joseph Manarik, Edward Manarik, Gregory Manarik, Jonathan (Melissa) Manarik, Alia (Andrew) Strandt, Selina Manarik, Craig Manarik, Stefani (Bailee) Duncan, and Nicole Alvarez, her great-grandchildren Camden, Sarah, and 2 more on the way, and numerous loving nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Michael Mack, her beloved son Gerry Manarik, and her 3 older sisters. A visitation and funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 10:00am until 12:00pm with the funeral mass commencing at 12:00pm at St. Gilbert Catholic Church, 301 E. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. Inurnment will follow the service at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Daughters of St. Paul in Chicago.
