Obituary's Biography:

Barbara Elaine Bucci, age 85, passed away on November 2, 2024 at her home in Lindenhurst, IL.  She was born November 3, 1938 in Chicago to Joseph and Emma (nee Allermann) Schultz. Beloved wife to the late Enio Bucci, devoted  mother of Natalie (Paul) Blachowicz, Kathy (Frank) Brown, and Anthony Bucci; loving Nana to Matthew, Brian, Nicole, Kaley, Julia, and Nick; and caring aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Barbara attended Steinmetz High School and the Jones School of Business in Chicago. She married Enio in 1960 and started their family.  In 1962, they moved to Glenview, IL where they raised their family of 3.  Once her children were in school, she returned to the workforce and had a successful career of 30+ years at Medline Industries in the Marketing Dept.  Barbara had a love to travel which she did in her early years with her Aunt Helen, then with her family and then with Enio in their retirement.  She was a lifelong reader and was a volunteer librarian at Willow Lakes in FL.  Barbara also loved to sew, garden, cook and enjoyed having her family around her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Enio Bucci; and her siblings, Sandra Stieben, and Richard Schultz.

A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held on Saturday, December 7th at 12pm at Parkway by the Lake, 25212 W. Lake Shore Dr., Ingleside, IL 60041. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Journey Care Hospice at Journeycare.org/donate.   1. Our prayers and thoughts are with all the family. We remember Barbara and Enio fondly. Memories on Helen Drive in Glenview and then later meeting them in Florida for lunch. They both had a warm and generous spirit. We were so blessed to know them.
    May their memory be eternal. God bless you all.
