Obituary's Biography:

Arvilla Johnson, age 99, of Clearbrook, Minnesota, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2015 at Fair Oaks Rehabilitation Center in South Beloit, Illinois. She was born May 10, 1916 in eastern Saskatchewan. She was a seamstress and a farmer’s wife. Arvilla is survived by one sibling, Pearl Westrum; her son, Paul Johnson; her grandchildren, Mary (Nickel) Hopp, Elizabeth Johnson, Paul Johnson Jr., Charity Johnson, Ralph Johnson; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Churchill Johnson, whom she married on February 9, 1934; siblings, Genevieve Torgeson, Ted Erickson, and Orville Erickson; her children, Dale Johnson and Ione (Johnson) Nickel; and grandchildren, John Nickel and Dawn Johnson. Friends of the family may visit on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.
